It's paired with a simple watercolor illustration based on a vintage Christmas tree that I found in my grandmother's attic. Both the lettering and watercolor are written and painted by hand. Then, the artwork is scanned using a high resolution scanner and formatted for printing. The background for these prints are old end papers of books housed by the New York Public Library.
